During this course you will polish and test your skills and learn to re-solve problems afloat. The start racing part of the course will teach you all you need to know to get round the race course and lays the foundations for winning.  The course will give you a solid foundation for the future and enable you to become much more confident and self sufficient alfoat.
During the course you can expect to be learning skills as listed below.

• Able to sail in adverse circumstances
• Able to sail backwards
• Understands sailing terminology
• Understands IRPCS
• Able to sail the boat effectively in different conditions
• Able to undertake sailing manoeuvres with a high degree of success
• Able to recover from a total inversion
• Can tie a varied number of knots
• Knows sources of weather and its effect on sailing conditions
