A very short syllabus which given the right conditions probably packs the most fun of all the RYA courses. Everything you need to know to start enjoying modern, multi hulls and three-sail boats.
During the course you can expect to be learning skills as listed below.

• Able to rig the boats, including spinnakers and trapeze
• Knowledge of different race courses and how they suit different boats
• Understand the concept of apparent wind
• Understand the concept of applying different rig setup for different conditions
• Perform spinnaker hoists and drops as helm and crew
• Able to sail new and different boats using its equipment to its advantage
• Understand the different techniques needed for sailing multi hulls compared to mono hulls
• Able to right a capsize in different styles of boats
• Understands how to use a trapeze and the safety considerations needed while using them
