Membership to ODSSA offers your organisation the opportunity to sail at
Farmoor Reservoir with the support of qualified staff and access to an
excellent fleet of sail training dinghies. Membership is open to groups
such as schools and youth groups who wish to offer sailing to young
people. The Membership is renewable on an Annual Basis running from January - December. The numbers of visits  included in your annual membership is based on the number of weeks in a school year. Most groups find that they would never reach the limit on inclusive visits and that the cost per person per visit is very minimal when compared to other activities. We Share some onsite facilities such as changing And training rooms with The Oxford Sailing Club, but have our own seperate workshop and office facility. Equipment available to affiliates includes safety equipment such as bouyancy aids and helmets, safety boats and sailing dinghies, teaching aids such as whiteboards and sailing books and DVD's. The reservoir itself is a diverse site owned and managed by Thames Water with Sailing Club Members (Sailors & Windsurfers), Bird Watchers, Walkers and Fisherman all using the reservoir for their chosen actvities. |
