The Oxford & District School Sailing Association (ODSSA) offers sail
training to individual young people, schools and youth groups within
Oxfordshire at Farmoor Reservoir.
ODSSA is a committee led charitable organisation that is supported by Oxford County Council, It is a RYA training centre and runs youth sailing courses jointly with The Oxford Sailing Club during the school holidays. Schools and youth groups can become members of ODSSA and are then able to benefit from the use of facilities to offer sailing to children within there organisation. ODSSA, has a Sailing Warden employed all year round, to act as point of contact for all enquiries, maintain the fleet of sailing dinghies and safety craft, as well as supervising all activities on the water. The Warden is generally available onsite Monday to Friday between 1000hrs and 1800hrs depending on the time of year. ODSSA is officially staffed during weekdays, but does have the ability to operate at weekends.
